A Blast from the Past!

I can't believe it has been 10 whole years since I graduated from High School. There are many days that I wonder where time has gone by! But going back and seeing so many good friends, some going grey, some bald, and most of us having at least a few kids helped me realize that time really has gone by.
On July 11th, we met together south of Mountain View High School for an afternoon picnic, and then to UVU for a formal dinner. It was so fun to see all of those great friends who have left an imprint in my life.

Somedays I look back and think ... man I don't miss the drama, the dating dilemmas, and school work ... but then I look at the clock and see that I haven't showered and it is noon, and wonder what I have done with my day, and why it was so hard to be in high school. No responsibility, no worries, your parents bought your school cloths (at least mine did :), and loads of time to do whatever you wanted without having to drag a few kids with you. As much as then looked so much more fun than some days in my house, I have to admit, that I would never change my life. I have to remember that in high school, the life I am living now was what I had always dreamed of having.

I have never been one that has loved every minute of here and now. I am always looking to what is next and how it will be better than the present. I think going back to my high school reunion did one thing for me ... and that is to enjoy every second of your life, because it passes far too quickly. There area few that have passed away, good friends, and others just acquaintances, but either way I am sad their life experiences were cut short. My challenge for my self and to all you readers, is to enjoy today like it was your last ... and let it change your life! Here's to the GLORY DAYS of cheering at football games, and for all you old time scrapbookers ... here is a page from the past!

You are so right! Great pictures! And you always amaze me with how talented you are (from your previous posts). That scrapbook that Adam made you is the sweetest and cutest thing ever! And I guess now I know that you have moved back. YEAH!!!

That was fun to see. I am sad that I missed out on the reunion, but so happy that I could be with my hubby on our anniversary. I had no idea I was in that picture! It really if fun to see how much everyone has changed. Thanks again for making it to my shower. I always love seeing you.
