Time to post!

I have wanted to post for three days now, and just now have I finally gotten to sit down and type!

First and most importantly ... Does anyone watch 24?

Well Adam and I LOVE 24 and were so disappointed that it wasn't on last year. I can already tell it is going to be a good season for the reason that three fingers of mine are in excruciating pain right now because they have been bit WAY too short! Adam is now demanding I call him Jack and Monday family night has turned into putting Bryson in bed early so we can watch an already AWESOME season. GO JACK and TONY!!!

Okay, now lets get down to business ... It is a New Year! Too bad we didn't take even ONE picture of our New Years Eve. Adam and I went out to dinner with my family, then came home, visited for a bit, and then went to bed at 10:30 pm. I know ... we are the worst!

So lets start with the resolutions!
** I am going to scrapbook for myself more, and hopefully this will mean more creativity for you all to look at :) I started it off with going to my monthly crop with some of my friends this last Friday. My goal is to finish Bryson's first year by the time the baby is born. I can't wait to give you my concept of how I decided to do Bryson's book but that is for my future posts!
I was planning on posting all of my pages I finished that night, but I am afraid CK may have to use a few of them.
So to be safe, I finished my title page for Bryson's book ... so I will give you a sneak peak.

Just a side note - My style is ULTRA simple! I am a Graphic Designer and like things very clean. So if you are looking for a ton of embellishments and pages that will take you 3 days, you won't find it here, especially for pages that are for my personal books. Now I can't say that my pages still don't take a while. The thinking process takes more time than you think!
** Adam has resolved to use his elliptical that he bought after Bryson was born to help get that "baby weight" off. It lasted a month and he hasn't used it for 9 months. He threatened to sell it, but instead made it his New Years resolution to finally use it.

Notice the elliptical is in my kitchen. We moved if for the Christmas tree, and never moved it back. Bryson decided he wanted to help daddy work out. Isn't this the cutest thing you have ever seen?
** I am resolving to update my blog more. I have hesitated posting a goal, but I am going to do it, so I can be more responsible. I am going to update my blog 3 times a week. Hopefully Monday, Wednesday, and on the Weekend, so I need everyone to hold me to this!
** Time to clean my house ... Here is what is on my list:
Clean my blinds upstairs, dust all baseboards, go through my closet and get rid of cloths, clean out all my junk drawers, and hold a garage sale! WHEW ... it may be a while, but I am going to do it before the baby is born!

Time to watch American Idol! Don't worry, I will be back with more!

I LOVE 24! I wasn't able to watch last season all the way so I am trying ot finish it on DVD, while taping the first few episodes of this year. This week I am on Jack overload.

Good luck with your resolutions!

I watched the first 2 seasons of 24 and it was great. Not much time for TV anymore, but I did just by the 24 bag for my cousin daddy-to-be who said it would be the perfect "manbag" baby bag.

Do you just scrap at home or at the LSS for your girls nights?

I wish I was there to scrapbook, I need to get going with that! The book looks so cute and I love the picture of bryson, time flies huh! Tell Adam we wish him luck with the exercise thing, I didn't even bother to make that a resolution, I knew I would fail:)
I need to call you soon and chat, I miss you!

I'm pregnant with my second as well...except that I'm not due until the beginning of August, and my Caeden will be almost 2, so I have a bit more room between mine than you are going to have. I think that can be a good thing though after you get past the initial shock.

I, too, had to have a {very traumatic} C-Section with my first and am hoping/praying that I don't have to go through it again, but at least it will be expected this time around for me.

Anyway, there's more than you wanted to know about me, but I wanted to comment b/c we're going through similar things right now :)

And, how does it feel to have Bryson be almost a year old?!? It flies by, doesn't it?

I just found your blog in CK. I also like simple scrapbooking... clean lines. I should have been a graphic designer 'cause that's how my mind works. My husband applied for a job in Page, AZ. After checking it out I was glad he wasn't offered the job. You look like you have so much fun there tho. Now I wish I could have moved there. Good luck on the column.

Thanks for the comment! You must have a talent of being super positive 'cause you convinced me it was great there. All I remember is that it was 4 hours from any airport and 2 or 3 hours from real shopping. I have a sister in St. George and we drove over from there.

I live in Cedar Rapids, IA and it is a much bigger city, but the shopping is not much better here. Last June we had record flooding that did horrible damage to the city and now there's even less than there was before. I long to be near family too.

So, will your baby come before or after you move? Where are you moving? Do you get to move near family?

I am LDS. We're definitely in the "mission field" here. We have more inactive members than members, probably 1/3 of our ward doesn't come to church. There's very few sisters my age and everyone who moves here usually leaves very soon after. It's like a short pit stop. We've been here 10 years now and I think we may spend the rest of our days on earth here.

I love your blog, but then again you did win scrapbooker of the year. You seem to have many talents. You even bake!! Not really my forte.

I'm still trying to figure out the blogging world. My sister got me into it and now she has 5 kids and can't keep up with the blog. Not many blog around here.

Well, I need to get my kids from school.

Take care and good luck with the pregnancy!
