Hey folks,
Just a note to tell you that I won't be posting for a week. Doing some fun family activities. Can't wait to tell you about it!
Happy Fourth!

Weekend
Hope all of you had a FABULOUS weekend! We were able to honor my dad and my husband all weekend, and what a great weekend it ended up being.
Thanks Dad for being such an amazing dad. Thanks Adam for being the best husband, and daddy ever.
Friday night I invited Katie, who was the only one to comment on my giveaway, to my scrap night. I wish I would have taken a picture, but we sure enjoyed scrapping together. She is such a sweet girl and we had lots in common. Thanks for coming Katie!
(Too bad I didn't get much done to show you all. It has been a crazy couple of weeks with work and I have done SO many projects, but sadly enough, I can't show any of them to you for a while. It's KILLING ME!)
Adam and I spend time on Saturday sanding down our bar stools and painting them. I am hoping to finish them tomorrow, so I will be sure to pass along a picture.
In the mean time, get a look at this!
My brother-in-law & sister-in-law in Chicago are making this AWESOME jewelry and selling it on Etsy. Click here to see more! I just can't WAIT to get my hands on some great new jewelry. They are coming to our family reunion in a week, so I hope I get to see some in person! YEEEE HAW!!

ANNOUNCING!!!
Do you live in Utah? Have you been wondering, how in the heck do I do everything I do? (If you have an answer to that question, would you let me know the answer?) he he he!
Well I have a GREAT idea! Usually about once a month I hold a crop with some of my friends and family. I thought it might be fun this month to hold a contest and give one of you lucky readers the opportunity join me at my house and crop. It will be this Friday night! (June 18th!) Write me a comment of why you deserve to come and scrapbook with me for a night, and the winner will get to come to my house, scrapbook, enjoy some yummy treats, and get a scrapbook product giveaway!
Can't wait to hear your responses!

One Year
So you wonder, why has Mandy not updated her blog?? Well a Birthday on Tuesday and a First Birthday today might have something to do with it!
My sweet husband is 31! On Tuesday me and the boys went and got Balloons and some Smart Cookies to take to him at work. Followed by a delicious (if I can say so myself) dinner. I made roasted red pepper - Bow tie pasta. Followed by a babysitter and the movie Prince of Persia. I have to tell you, I TOTALLY didn't want to see this movie, but I LOVED it and would recommend it to anyone! It was Fab!
So then today was the preparations for the big "FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY"! First was the invitation:
Next was the cake and decorations. The theme of the party all started with the letter "C". The "CAKE" followed by some "Cupcakes" followed by "Cars" followed by "Cookies", and the decor all had "c"'s on it!
. YES I actually made the cake myself. I wasn't going to take on the challenge, but I did it. It took all day long! First was the cakes ... then there was the strawberry-cool whip filling. Next was the whipped cream frosting. And last but not least, the Marshmallow Fontdant for the cars and little colorful balls. You can click "here" for the recipe. It was actually pretty easy ... just time consuming.
I can't believe my little boy is already 1 year old. It was such a great birthday ... and now off to bed ... It was a great day, but an exhausting one for this mommy of two!
Niiiiiii-ght (as Bryson would say)

Memorial Day
Usually Memorial Day is a day we focus on those who have passed on ... Adam and I have a little bit of an obscure way of celebrating. We decided last minute to visit those at Lake Powell in which we have moved away from ... so in honor of the friends we miss so severely bad ... Happy Memorial Day ... a day to remember memories of living in Page!
