That is right folks! I am FINALLY Mama! 2 years and 1 month later, the kid finally refers to me as MAMA instead of Mandy! Is it weird that I got all teared up? What a day, WHAT A GREAT DAY!

Brian Regan
So back in October Adam was driving home from work when they announced that Brian Regan was coming to town! I was so excited and was online, purchasing the tickets before he even got home. I can't believe that time flew as fast as it did. Last night was the night we finally got to go. So I got a babysitter, my sister Tiff and her husband came too. I drove up with Tiff and met Adam in SL at his work. He took us around the building he is building right now. 
We got the official tour! It was so fun to see!
Did I mention I have such an amazing and talented husband?
Next was Cafe Molise. It is this little quaint Italian restaurant in DT SLC. I got my FAVORITE dish, which was Gniocci. Then rapped up the night laughing so hard my face hurt seeing the best comedian ever!

I love weddings
Most people don't know this about me ... but I LOVE weddings. I love planning them, I love doing invitations, I love every moment. In fact, I actually custom design wedding invites. I love the spring because it makes me think of all the fun weddings for spring that will be coming soon. In honor of my wedding "love" I would love to show you one page that of course was used in my SOY portfolio, and a samples of one of the wedding invites I have designed:)

SNOW!!!
HOLY COW! I woke up this morning to a full foot of snow! Around noon the sun came out, and right now I am pouting that I am not skiing. Oh the sacrifices we make for our young kids.

This was a famous line by my dad. For some reason this week has been just one of those weeks, and I feel like if I can make it to Friday, that everything will be great. Don't you just look forward to the weekends to spend time with your husband? I sure do and can't wait ... thought we don't have too many big plans, I just can't wait!

Scrapbooker of the Year 2008
Some of you may know that in September 2008, Creating Keepsakes Magazine named me Scrapbooker of the Year. 
The award came as a complete shock! I never thought that what began as an activity to excite myself again to scrapbook my own photos, and not just for scrapbook manufacturing companies, started an adventure that is hard to describe!
I have worked for Scrapbooking companies, on and off for about 10 years, but the thought of publishing pages that I enjoyed doing, that were my style, and expressed my deepest feelings, was something I had not shared with the public. Now here I am, a year and a half later, sharing with you all the little pieces of my life, and displaying that piece of creativity that has been instilled in my soul since I was young.
Creating Keepsakes has only published a few of those pages that inspired them to choose me for this award, and so as an exciting series to my blog, (and celebration that I am now updating my blog regularly) I thought I would share one of these pages with you each day for the next little while. What do you think?
Now after winning the contest, some friends were very congratulatory, and other friends were mean and belligerent. My pages are what they are ... SIMPLE! I am so grateful for the great scrappers who inspire me to explore many different techniques and help me find my creative spark. I hope you all know that the fact that they would pick me ... out of all of those talented scrapbookers still blows me away to this day. I hope that these few pages will inspire you!
