Four years ago on June 10th, Adam proposed to me. I wanted to post this on the 10th, but with so much going on at our home lately, I am afraid I am just now getting to it. Some have said, I married the perfect person for me. I would have to agree with them. Adam made me this amazing album, with help from our sister-in-law.
So here is the story of how he proposed ...

I woke up early to go running, and there was a rose with this scrapbook page:I knew that something was going on ... but was unsure of what it was all about. After getting ready, I started out the door to go and meet some friends for Breakfast. There on the front door step was another page, and another rose. After breakfast, I went to work and on my desk was another page, and another rose. I have previously arranged to take off work (I was currently working for a local scrapbook store as the design coordinator) and scrapbook with my sisters all day. It worked out that each "HOUR" during the day, another page and rose was delivered to me by someone that had been very significant in our relationship.
The second to last page was delivered by Adam ... and he took me up to a beautiful home in Alpine, Utah where his brother served us dinner and brought me my desert on a tray ... which was the last page displaying ... MARRY ME and of course the Ring!! I immediately said yes

It is true ... I married the perfect man for me. He hasn't scrapbooked since then, but he sure is great to take pictures, and to give his opinion on pages when needed. I LOVE this man and count myself the luckiest girl in the whole world to have him in my life!

Adam's 30th!

Adam's 30th Birthday was June 1st, two days before Chad was born. I decided ... don't ask me what I was thinking ... to throw him a surprise party. It turned out really great, but man did it wear me out.

A few weeks before the blessed day I sent out these invites.

Then I asked all of our close family and friends to send a card with a favorite memory or something they love about Adam. I was so happy to receive so many cards.

When I received the award of Scrapbooker of the Year, I attended CKU and took Ali Edwards Album class. It has almost taken me a year, but I finally finished the book. It is a book of Adam's life. Childhood, Teen life, and now. The pockets at the beginning of each section are journaling pockets for Adam to write his favorite memories. The envelope on the last page is for all the cards he received for his Birthday. The design of the book essentially is Ali's design. I learned so much by getting outside my design box and putting a different spin on this Album. I loved this class because I was able to still include some of my own design twists on it. Hope you enjoy!

TODAY IS THE DAY!

I feel so bad I haven't updated my Blog as much as I would have liked to. The last couple of weeks have been so crazy and overwhelming. I feel like I just run around in circles all day.

So here is the news ... I go to Kanab at 2:00 pm today. My Dr. will check to see if I am dilated to a 2. If I am, then he will break my water and we can get this going. If not, we can opt to have a C-Section this evening around 5pm. Either way, it looks like our baby will probably be here sometime today. Wish me luck!
