Baby Kit

So a few weeks ago I got a call from Creating Keepsakes about a kit they were selling. It was a baby kit and they wondered if I would be willing to make a few pages to display how the kit looks when put together. I had NO IDEA it would be as cute as it was when I got it. If I could afford getting one for all of my friends who just had babies ... no really, like 10 girls, I would do it! Here are the pages that I did, that I definitely will put in Bryson's book, and here is the link to find out more about it!
http://www.lisabearnson.com/kotm/ FYI, the kit comes in 12 x 12 but it was easily cut down to 8 1/2" x 11" pages ... since that is the size I am doing Bryson's book in!

From good to bad

There are great things that changed my life this week and here they are:

One, My husband brought me home two dozen roses, one dozen red, and the other dozen white. I was just having one of those days and he purchased them out of nowhere. NOW to all of you ladies who think ... man I wish my husband would do that ... I am one of you! This is not something Adam does often, but I sure love those times that he does surprise me for no reason at all!

Two, I finished my grocery cart cover! The fabric I found on Stacy Julians Blog a few weeks ago, and ordered. It is by a company called Heather Bailey. She makes Scrapbook Paper too! You'll have to check it out. The pattern is McCalls that I got at Walmart. Pretty sweet huh! It folds up into a bag too!

Three, This little friend was one that didn't change my life for the better ... it was what I found in my kitchen as I went to put Bryson in his highchair to feed him. Adam said it was the largest centipede he had ever seen. 6" long and REALLY scary! (Okay so probably not that scary). I had to wait a whole 20 minutes until Adam got home for it to be removed from my house. OH how there are some days I REALLY hate living in Arizona!

I love Mail and Packages!!

I don't know about you, but every time I see the UPS or FED EX truck in my neighborhood I press my face against the glass window in our family room and anxiously await to see if it maybe ... just maybe it might be stopping at our house! I love the mail and even more than mail, I love packages! In my little town we don't have mail men, and so we have to go to the post office each and everyday to get the mail. Now as much as I often grumble that I "must" go every day, it is me and Bryson's way of getting out of the house.

WELL FOLKS ... this past week it happened! YEP, that UPS truck stopped at my house THREE TIMES! There they were, packages sitting on my doorstep! Now I have to say, this SOY contest has brought that UPS man to my house a few times now and this week my GREAT sponsor SIzzix sent me a few love packages!

First, The BIG SHOT! That is right ... I now have my own die cutting station at my house! I can't wait to show you the fun things I get to create with this bad boy!

Second, was their new HELLO KITTY die cuts ... which I don't know how I might use them ... seeing my only child is a boy, but I promise you that I will find a cute way to use them. How can you not?

Third Package ... well it wasn't from Sizzix, but it was my son's new high chair. What do you think?

I have been obsessed with the Darius collection from Graco, and have only been able to find it online. So along with the highchair, I have also purchased the play yard, and my sisters were so sweet to pitch in and get me the swing! Cute eh? I think so!
